Are Implants In A Day Possible?
At Dr. Ian Gray Dental Group, we believe in providing the highest level of dental care possible using various advancements in dental techniques and technology to improve and restore your oral health. We support our patients by providing the knowledge they need to make decisions about their oral health. This can be especially difficult if a patient is dealing with extreme tooth decay, a severe illness, or has experienced a recent trauma and needs to have multiple teeth extracted. We want to recommend a treatment that will successfully restore oral health safely and in a way that saves time. That is why Teeth-In-A-Day is the perfect treatment.
What is Teeth-In-A-Day?
Traditional implants are a tooth replacement option that is popular among many patients, but the biggest downfall is the length of time from the start of treatment until the end. Dental implants can take months to complete, and not everyone is willing to spend the time required for successful treatment. Teeth-In-A-Day is an alternative option, and like the name implies, treatment is completed in one day. This treatment streamlines the process of dental implants and eliminates much of the time between stages. The process involves extracting the teeth, placing the implant, and having a fixed set of teeth all in one appointment. It is typically recommended for patients who need to have multiple teeth extracted and replaced. The Teeth-In-A-Day procedure is typically used in conjunction with implant-supported dentures, or All-on-4, which means all of the teeth are replaced and supported on four dental implants.
Who is Eligible for Treatment?
This treatment is extremely beneficial to patients who need to replace multiple teeth, if not all of them. It is especially helpful to patients who experience an unexpected trauma of the mouth and need to quickly replace their teeth.
